New TV spot for Jordan Peele’s Nope seemingly reveals what’s in the sky

June 4, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

As with his previous films Get Out and Us, there’s been an incredible amount of secrecy around Jordan Peele’s next directorial offering Nope, so much so that all the marketing has really revealed is that the residents of a remote California town are going to find themselves in peril due to a mysterious object or entity in the sky.

Well, it seems the official Twitter account for the movie may have just revealed exactly what that threat is… and it’s not a giant sentient killer cloud, but rather a giant, 1950s-style Flying Saucer?!

Would they really give this away with a throwaway reveal in a TV spot? Or could it be some kind of misdirection? Who knows, but take a look at the TV spot for yourself here…

Yeah, nah. No. Hell no. #NOPEMOVIE pic.twitter.com/ZBCndG64yW

Nope arrives in cinemas on July 22nd.
