New Wonder Woman 1984 images released as Gal Gadot explains how Diana has evolved

April 14, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Following a look at Empire’s Wonder Woman 1984-themed covers, the magazine has revealed two new images from the upcoming DC sequel featuring Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine); take a look here…

Meanwhile, speaking to the outlet, Gal Gadot has explained how Diana Prince has “evolved” since we first met her on Themyscira in the 2017 origin movie:

“The first movie was a coming of age, it was Diana becoming Wonder Woman. She was very naive and she didn’t understand the complexities of life. A fish out of water. In this movie, that’s not the case whatsoever. Diana has evolved. She’s much more mature and very wise. However, she’s very lonely. She lost all of her team members and she’s guarded. And then something crazy happens.”
