NieR: Glory to Mankind offers unique arrangements for the music of NieR: Automata

September 5, 2017 by Villordsutch

NieR: Automata is a truly beautiful, if not heart-breaking game, surrounded by fantastic imagery, story and of course some splendid music by Keiichi Okabe & Keigo Hoashi.  Now from Materia Collective comes NieR: Glory to Mankind, in which artists ROZEN and REVEN present a hybrid orchestral pop arrangement of these classic pieces.

The album’s 13 unique arrangements include live vocal and instrumental performances of key tracks originally composed by Keiichi Okabe, Keigo Hoashi, and the team at MoNACA.

Fans of NieR: Automata will be excited to find the most popular songs from the game included, such as the eerily playful “Amusement Park” (watch the video for this below), the sleek and futuristic “Copied City,” and the powerful and emotional main theme, “Weight of the World.” The full track listing is as follows:

01. Become as Gods

02. City Ruins

03. Amusement Park

04. A Beautiful Song

05. Copied City

06. Wretched Weaponry

07. Emil (Despair)

08. Eve

09. Vague Hope

10. Dark Colossus

11. Song of Devola & Popola

12. Grandma (Destruction)

13. Weight of the World
