Olivia Munn has joined the History series Six

July 12, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Actress Olivia Munn has joined the cast of the History drama series Six.

History’s military drama series Six was ordered for an eight episode first season with the premier coming on January 18, 2017.

A second season for the show was picked up by History back in February which is set to contain ten episodes and debut sometime in 2018.

Olivia Munn, of X-Men: Apocalypse and The Newsroom fame, has been cast as Gina, a CIA operative who has climbed up the ranks to become an operations officer.

Six revolves around the real life missions of the infamous U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), also known as SEAL Team Six. This unit is one of the U.S. Armed Forces primary counter-terrorism units.

The series was created by William Broyles, David Broyles, and Harvey Weinstein. Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Dominic Adams, and Walton Goggins.
