Outlander’s Sam Heughan joins Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis in The Spy Who Dumped Me

According to Deadline, Outlander star Sam Heughan is set for the male lead in the upcoming comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me, where he’ll join Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis.

Susanna Fogel is directing the film, which sees McKinnon and Kunis as two best friends who unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when one of the women discovers the boyfriend who dumped her actually was a spy. Heughan is set to play the boyfriend, in what will be his first major starring role on the big screen.

Production on The Spy Who Dumped Me is set to get underway in the summer, with the film slated for release on July 6th 2018.
