Paul Feig to produce and direct Girls Code for Freeform

November 3, 2017 by Amie Cranswick

Variety is reporting that Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters) has signed on to produce and direct Girls Code, a new comedy series from creator Kim Rosenstock (New Girl) which revolves around female tech entrepreneurs.

The half hour comedy is described as “a half-hour women-in-the workplace comedy about an antisocial tech CEO and an outspoken feminist non-profit warrior who must put aside their issues with each other in order to mastermind a groundbreaking, all-women tech incubator.”

Feig has plenty of experience on the small screen, having created the cult series Freaks and Geeks, as well as helming episodes of 30 Rock, The Office, Arrested Development and Weeds.
