Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 adds Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry

August 22, 2025 by Ricky Church

While the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere in just a few months, production on the third season has already begun and received a significant update to its cast.

Disney announced today Dafne Keen (Logan) and Saara Chaudry (The Muppets Mayhem) have joined the series as Artemis, the Olympian goddess of the moon and hunt, and Zoë Nightshade, the leader of the Hunters of Artemis respectively.

Artemis “prefers the freedom of the outdoors to the politics and formality of Olympus. Her immortal hunters are her constant companions, and she has little contact with mortals, making her a bit out of touch with modern human culture. She is regal and an honorable fighter who will stand up to grave challenges.”

Zoë Nightshade is the “loyal lieutenant to Artemis and first among the immortal hunters. She has been at Artemis’ side for more than 2,000 years. She is a strong warrior and sometimes overly serious in ways that amuse the demigods, but she is also a crucial quest member, willing to strive and sacrifice for the good of all.”

The third season is adapting the third book from author Rick Riordan’s fantasy series, The Titan’s Curse, where Percy and his friends must stop Kronos and his army from capturing sibling demigods Nico and Bianca di Angelo, who will be played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 is currently in production in Vancouver.

Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and Toby Stephens as Poseidon. Season two will introduce Daniel Diemer, Timothy Simons, Tamara Smart, Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho and Andra Day to the cast with Courtney B. Vance taking on the role of Zeus after Lance Reddick’s passing.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 will premiere on December 10th.
