Pick of the London Film Festival Special #2 with Sarah Cook | The Pick of the Flicks Podcast

September 26, 2019 by Tom Beasley

During the course of the BFI London Film Festival 2019, The Pick of the Flicks Podcast is devoting itself to looking at the best of the fest. This time around, it’s week two and things are getting very weird indeed…

On this week’s episode of The Pick of the Flicks Podcast, the focus is still on the London Film Festival as the pre-fest press screenings continue. Tom Beasley sits down with film critic Sarah Cook to discuss a pair of the festival’s most delightful curios so far. In one corner is the offbeat French animation I Lost My Body, which follows a disembodied hand’s quest for reattachment, and in the other is South Korean body swap comedy The Dude In Me. To put it mildly, this is a wild double bill.
