Prime Video orders Creed spinoff series Delphi

May 14, 2025 by EJ Moreno

Creed took the Rocky films to new heights, and now the franchise will enter new territory.

As revealed by Amazon Prime Video, the first television series set in the franchise will be called Delphi. Michael B. Jordan and his Outlier Society are set to produce the new series, which will take place at the titular boxing gym and focus on the young athletes who populate the ring. Marco Ramírez (La Máquina) will serve as showrunner and executive producer.

In the films, the Delphi Boxing Academy is a Los Angeles-based boxing gym founded by Tony “Duke” Evers, where Apollo Creed trained. It’s now the home of Adonis Creed (Jordan) and is run by Tony “Little Duke” Evers.

For those unfamiliar, the Creed franchise has grossed more than $660 million at the worldwide box office and saw its impact grow over the three films. The 2015 film reinvigorated Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky franchise, with Stallone appearing in the first two entries alongside Michael B. Jordan, with Jordan also taking on directing duties for the third installment.

“The series that takes us back to where it all began,” Jordan said at the Amazon upfront. “What I love about this story is that it stays true to what the Rocky and Creed franchise is all about: hard work, determination, fighting for something bigger than yourself. It’s about family, the ones we’re born into and the ones that we created. We’re building something special here, and I’m excited to introduce you to new fighters that will walk into the Delphi. As always, in Creed we say, one step, one round, one punch at a time.”

Delphi is set to premiere and air on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories.
