Variety is reporting that Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener) has signed on to appear in the indie sci-fi drama Cloud One.
The project is being directed by Goran Dukic (Wristcutters: A Love Story), who has also written the script based upon a short story by Etgar Keret, while The Imitation Game’s Ido Ostrowsky and Nora Grossman are producing. Plot details are being kept under wraps.
Weisz was seen in Denial, My Cousin Rachel and Disobedience last year; in 2018 she will be seen opposite Colin Firth in the Lionsgate drama The Mercy, as well as Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Favourite alongside Emma Stone and Joe Alwyn.
