Richard Ayoade introduces us to beasts and vegetables in the Fable trailer

June 12, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Xbox has used their Games Showcase to release the teaser for the first installment of their choose-your-own way RPG series Fable for 13 years.

Introduced by Richard Ayoade’s Dave, a vegetable enthusiast who believes that the age of the hero is over, the teaser takes us back to the world of Albion, where players can decide what kind of hero they want to be as they play as the foul-mouthed female protagonist; check out the video below…

What does it mean to be a Hero? Well, in the fairytale land of Albion, that is entirely up to you. With a dark threat looming, and in a world where your reputation precedes you, your choices will change Albion forever.

Fable is yet to receive a release date, but it will be available on Game Pass Day One.
