Robbie Amell’s Ronnie Raymond returning for guest spot in The Flash

December 4, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Robbie Amell is set to make his return to the Arrowverse as he reprises his role as Ronnie Raymond, one half of the original Firestorm, for a two-episode guest spot in the eighth season of The Flash.

As per Entertainment Weekly, details on Amell’s return are being kept under wraps, but he’ll appear in the eleventh and twelfth episodes. The show is currently mid-way through its five-part ‘Armageddon’ event which launched the season, and will then go on a winter break, resuming from episode six in March.

Amell’s Ronnie Raymond appeared in the first season of The Flash, where he and Victor Garber’s Martin Stein were fused together to create the hero Firestorm. Ronnie was killed off in the season one finale, but the actor previously returned for a guest appearance back in season three.

The Flash is currently airing on Tuesdays on The CW, with Grant Gustin leading the cast as Barry Allen alongside series regulars Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet, Kayla Compton, Brandon McKnight, and Jesse L. Martin.
