Robert E. Howard’s Solomon Kane and Dark Agnes coming to Marvel Comics

September 13, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Having ushered in a new Age of Hyboria earlier this year after regaining the rights to Conan, Marvel has now announced that it is set to introduce more characters from the mind of Robert E. Howard to the Marvel comic book universe, beginning with Solomon Kane and Dark Agnes.

“Our readers cannot get enough of Conan, and luckily, we have plenty more to give them,” states Marvel Editor Mark Basso. “We’re very excited for readers and the heroes of the Marvel Universe to meet or reunite with more characters from the legendary Robert E. Howard mythos!”

“With their world-building and storytelling expertise, we’re happy that Marvel now will go deeper into the Howardverse to explore more of all his fantastic characters, and spinning new, exiting yarns,” adds Joakim Zetterberg, Executive Vice President at Conan Properties.

Marvel is set to announce further details about its plans for Solomon Kane, Dark Agnes and other Howard creations at a later date.
