Rumour: Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-Ray will have deleted scenes

February 26, 2016 by admin

Earlier this week, we got the news that the Blu-Ray (or Blu-Rey) for Star Wars: The Force Awakens would be a 3-disc release, but there was no word on what would be on it. However, a Swedish website seems to be clued in.

The website CDON.Com (thanks to MakingStarWars for the heads up) lists the following special features:

  • Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey
  • The Story Awakens: The Table Read
  • Building BB-8
  • Crafting Creatures
  • Blueprint of a Battle: The Snow Fight
  • The Visual Magic Of The Force
  • John Williams: The Seventh Symphony
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Force For Change

What’s interesting about the release is that it notes deleted scenes. There was a rumour last week that a scene with Darth Vader was filmed but never used, and there has also been talk of a speeder chase on the Starkiller base, so we’ll see very soon if any of those rumours – or indeed this list – are true.
