S.W.I.N.E HD remaster gets release date and new trailer

April 17, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Kite Games have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for the HD Remaster of S.W.I.N.E.

You can watch the new trailer here…

For anyone who is unaware of S.W.I.N.E., the game is a comedic strategy war game, first released in 2001. In S.W.I.N.E., players can either play as the bloodthirsty pigs or the peaceful rabbits and guide them to victory in a series of missions.

The key features of the HD Remaster include:

  • Remastered graphics: S.W.I.N.E. HD Remaster boasts a redesigned interface adjusted to 16:9 aspect ratio, along with detailed unit texture. Extended graphics settings are available: anti-aliasing, v-sync, screen selection, and full-screen mode.
  • Improved game experience: Tons of bug fixes, extended zoom, improved unit ordering, and plenty of other updates bring the game into the modern age.
  • Multiplayer is back:Travel back to the good old days with your friends and play this unique landmark of a game either online or on LAN.

The HD Remaster also features the original 2001 soundtrack, an art-book with unreleased concept art, and a developer documentary detailing the process behind S.W.I.N.E.’s remaster.

Assemble Entertainment have also announced the S.W.I.N.E. HD Remaster will be available on 23rd May via Steam.
