Apple TV+ has dropped the trailer for the second season of their critically-acclaimed murder-mystery comedy series The Afterparty.
From Academy Award winning duo Chris Miller and Phil Lord, season two sees Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) return to help Aniq (Sam Richardson) and Zoë (Zoë Chao) solve a wedding-set whodunnit by questioning family members, star-crossed lovers and business partners, and hearing each suspect’s retelling of the weekend, each with their own unique perspective and visual style.
This time around the trio have an all-new cast-list of suspects to interrogate, including John Cho, Paul Walter Hauser, Ken Jeong, Anna Konkle, Poppy Liu, Elizabeth Perkins, Jack Whitehall, Zach Woods and Vivian Wu. Check out the trailer below…
“The Afterparty” centres on a murder mystery at a wedding. Each of the eight episodes features a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual style and film genre to match the teller’s personality.
