Sci-fi city builder Starport Delta releasing on Steam this month

March 17, 2020 by Liam Waddington

Developer Cloudfire Studios is releasing Starport Delta, a new real-time space strategy and management game on 27th March on PC via Steam.

In Starport Delta, players will have to protect your starport against alien pirates, space storms, massive space worms who devour everything, meteor showers, and radiation blasts that endanger the lives of all the residents, while attempting to build a brand-new space station.

The game will also allow players to explore Starport Delta’s galactic sandbox by engaging in campaign missions, while having the opportunity to command, build, and expand their space stations by choosing how they are designed and run.

However, players will have tackle challenging goals for the growth of the station including balancing the station between mining, housing, and trade, managing defence infrastructure, taking care of citizens or dealing with problematic residents, and upgrading the station for beneficial effects.

“We are very excited to bring a sci-fi city builder to players who are looking to cure that city-building itch,” said Ian Shepard of Cloudfire Studios. “We are a small but dedicated team who love the genre and I think we have created something accessible to newcomers but that has plenty of depth for fans of the genre.”

Will you be picking up Starport Delta when it releases on Steam on 27th March? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @FMyth_Gaming…
