Following the release of the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War last week, directors Anthony and Joe Russo spoke about the upcoming Phase Three-launching sequel. Now Sebastian Stan has been talking about his return as The Winter Soldier, and how Bucky has been coping since his brainwashing at the hands of Hydra.
“Where we find him after The Winter Soldier, he’s in a place where he’s learning about himself and he’s discovering, as as you saw in the last scene of The Winter Soldier at the museum, he’s starting to put the pieces together, he’s starting to learn about the past. Where he’s been and what he’s done. And as you’ll see in the next movie, it doesn’t come without a huge price: emotionally, mentally, and it’s not easy for him to learn about what he’s done… Without giving anything away, all I can say is that he’s a problem for a lot of people.”

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
