Selma Blair joins Katee Sackhoff in Another Life

August 26, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Back in April it was announced that Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff had signed on to star in Another Life, a sci-fi series in the works at Netflix, and now comes word from Deadline that Selma Blair (Hellboy) has also joined the cast.

Created by Aaron Martin (Saving Hope, DeGrassi: The Next Generation), Another Life sees Sackhoff as Niko Breckinridge, an astronaut searching for evidence of alien intelligence who leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artefact.

Blair, who recently guest starred on Netflix’s Lost in Space, will play Harper Glass, a 21st century media influencer “who uses journalism, social media and keen intelligence in an attempt to break one of the biggest stories in human history.”

Another Life has a ten-episode series order from Netflix, and is being produced by Halfire Entertainment, which previously produced the limited series Alias Grace for the streaming service.
