A Series of Unfortunate Events to end after three seasons

February 5, 2018 by Gary Collinson

With its second season set to get underway next month, actor Neil Patrick Harris has revealed to Deadline that the Netflix adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is to end next year.

The news won’t be too surprising: the first season covered the first four instalments in the Daniel Handler-penned 13 book series, with the upcoming second season covering books five through to nine. Presumably, the third season will wrap things up by adapting the final four books.
