Jack Ryan The Movie was announced back in October. It is an expansion of the Prime Video series starring John c, and we are now learning who will round out the cast.
The Hollywood Reporter announced Sienna Miller will join the cast, set to star opposite John Krasinski. While plot details are still undisclosed, Miller will play an MI6 agent, serving as the British counterpart to Ryan.
Andrew Bernstein, the executive producer and director of season two, is directing the feature. Aaron Rabin, who served as a co-executive producer and writer on season four, penned the script. Paramount Pictures and Skydance are producing. Krasinski is also producing under his production banner Sunday Night with Allyson Seeger.
Jack Ryan ran for four seasons on Prime Video, where it sat as one of the streamer’s top three most-watched series globally. The show was based on the characters created by author Tom Clancy.
As for Miller, she’s stayed busy in recent years. She was most recently seen on the big screen in Kevin Costner’s two-part Western epic Horizon: An American Saga. Miller also starred in the Netflix drama series Anatomy of a Scandal. The actress broke onto the scene in 2004 with the films Layer Cake and Alfie.
Jack Ryan has no set release date as yet.
