Sony announces PlayStation Classic with 20 built in games

Sony has announced that it is bringing back the original PSX with the upcoming release of the PlayStation Classic, a miniature version of the legendary home console.

The PlayStation Classic, which is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, will come with two controllers, along with HDMI and USB cables.

The Classic will feature twenty pre-loaded games, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. The remaining titles will be announced soon.

The PlayStation Classic follows the hugely successful release of the NES Classic Edition and SNES Classic Edition, while retro gaming fan also have the SEGA Mega Drive Mini and NEOGEO Mini to look forward to.

The PlayStation Classic will retail for $99.99 in the U.S. and will be released on December 3rd 2018. No word yet on UK availability.
