Deadline is reporting that Sony and Marvel’s 2017 reboot of Spider-Man is set for an IMAX release, with the film set to be digitally remastered into the IMAX 3D format.
Just last week, it was announced that Sony has brought forward the release of Spider-Man to July 7th 2017 as part of the knock-on effect from Disney pushing back Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Spider-Man is set to be directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and will star Tom Holland (The Impossible) as the wall-crawler, with Holland making his debut as the character this year in Captain America: Civil War.
