SPOILERS: Two Guardians return for Avengers: Endgame reshoots

January 17, 2019 by Gary Collinson

With the release of Avengers: Endgame drawing ever closer, two Guardians of the Galaxy cast members have taken to social media to announce that they are back on set for some late reshoots on the Marvel blockbuster. The first won’t be too surprising given that we’ve already glimpsed the character in the first trailer, although the second should probably be classed as a spoiler, seeing as they didn’t make it out of Avengers: Infinity War alive (and weren’t part of The Decimation, either)…

At this point, it seems that most fans are convinced that the victims of The Snap will be back from the dead at some point during Endgame (we are getting Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Panther 2 and Doctor Strange 2, after all), although the fates of others such as Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Vision (Paul Bettany) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) are a little less clear.

Of course, Saldana’s inclusion doesn’t necessarily mean that Gamora will be resurrected, and it’s possible that the character could feature via time travel / flashbacks / visions. However, we’ll find out for sure soon enough…
