Swamp Thing animation test for aborted Justice League Dark movie Dark Universe

Before Warner Bros. decided to change it to an animated feature, the studio spent a couple of years developing a Justice League Dark live-action movie with Guillermo del Toro, titled Dark Universe.

The Pacific Rim helmer ultimately left the project in 2015, leaving the door open for other directors to pitch the studio, including Joseph Kahn (Detention), who produced a brief animation test for the character of Swamp Thing as part of his proposal. And now he’s shared it online for all to see…
