Syfy’s Channel Zero teases Seasons 3 and 4 plot details and inspiration

Syfy’s horror anthology series Channel Zero was a surprise hit when it debuted this past October. Such a hit, in fact, that Syfy announced a second season before the first even concluded.

The first season centered around the Creepypasta “Candle Cove, and now Bloody-Disgusting has revealed plot details, as well as the inspiration for seasons 3, and 4 of Channel Zero.

The 3rd season, scheduled to air in 2018, will be titled “Staircases”, and stars Brandon Scott (Blair Witch) and Holland Roden (Teen Wolf). Brandon Scott is said to play “Officer Luke Vanczyk, a young but already jaded cop, living in the shadow of his father, the Chief of Police. Luke’s world-weary exterior hides a fierce commitment to justice, and a deep love for his troubled community.” Holland Roden is playing “Zoe Woods, a sharp, tough young woman whose struggles with mental illness have worn her down over the years. She hates that her younger sister, Alice, has to take care of her and she’d give anything to go back to the way things used to be.”

Season 4 has also been confirmed to be based on the Creepypasta “I Found a Hidden Door in my Cellar”, though there is no casting news at this time.

Season 2 of Channel Zero, entitled “No End House”, will be debuting this October.
