Telltale seeking partners to complete The Walking Dead: The Final Season

September 26, 2018 by Gary Collinson

As a result of last week’s news that Telltale Games has laid off the majority of its staff, we lost a number of hotly-anticipated upcoming titles including the sequel to The Wolf Among Us and the adaptation of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Perhaps most disappointing of all however was the news that Telltale would no long be working on The Walking Dead: The Final Season after its second episode, potentially leaving the story of Clementine hanging.

Well, in some potentially good news, Telltale has now released a statement revealing that the company is in talks with multiple potential partners and are working towards a solution that they hope will allow episodes three and four to be “completed and released in some form”.

So, let’s hope we do get some good news about The Walking Dead: The Final Season in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the second episode was released today.
