Tenet will see a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital release this December

November 6, 2020 by EJ Moreno

If you missed Tenet while it was in the theaters or simply want to see Christopher Nolan’s latest blockbuster again, there’s finally a date for its home release as Warner Bros. has announced Christopher Nolan’s Tenet will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on December 15th.

Preorders for the film will begin on November 10th. The Blu-ray and 4K UHD Combo Pack will come with a bonus feature titled “Looking at the World in a New Way: The Making of Tenet,” which will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the movie. While some may be disappointed with a single bonus feature included with this release, reports say “hour-long exploration” into the film.

Released this September, Tenet faced massive hurdles at the box-office with the global health pandemic shutting down cinemas around the globe. The film went on to gross almost $350 million globally on a $200 million budget. Nolan recently discussed the film’s performance, saying he doesn’t want studios to draw the “wrong conclusions” from its box office returns. The home entertainment release, timed perfectly for the holidays, will allow the film to find a whole new audience.

Armed with only one word – Tenet – and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real-time. Not time travel. Inversion.

Tenet sees Christopher Nolan directing a cast that includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
