The Baby in the Basket images offer new look at gothic horror film

December 4, 2024 by Gary Collinson

With our February 2025 release date now confirmed (and pre-orders for the DVD open via Amazon and HMV), the long wait for Flickering Myth’s first foray into the world of independent film is almost over, and so ahead of the trailer (coming later this month), we’ve shared a gallery of official images from The Baby in the Basket to give you a little peek at what we’ve been cooking up with Shepka Productions.

The Baby in the Basket stars Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey), Michaela Longden (How to Kill Monsters), Elle O’Hara (Cara), Lisa Riesner (Charlie’s Angels) and Nathan Shepka (When Darkness Falls) alongside veteran British talent Annabelle Lanyon (Legend), Maryam d’Abo (The Living Daylights) and Paul Barber (The Full Monty).

You can take a look at a selection of images below, and be sure to sign up to our FREE Patreon where you can find a full gallery of 50 new images from the film along with extra content from The Baby in the Basket and Flickering Myth Films including our second collaboration with Shepka Productions, the mystery-thriller Death Among the Pines…

A baby in a basket is left on the steps of an isolated monastery on a Scottish island. The nuns take it in, planning to care for it until a storm passes. Soon though, strange and unexplained events begin to happen at the convent.

The Baby in the Basket is produced by Shepka Productions, Flickering Myth and Hidden Ridge Productions in association with Jolliffe Productions and Nerdly UK. It is set for release on February 17th 2025.
