The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons would like to play The Riddler

March 20, 2015 by Luke Owen

While we are in the height of comic book movie mania, it makes sense for TV and film’s top stars to talk about the characters they’d like to play on the small/silver screen – and Jim Parsons is no exception.

Best known for his role as neurotic Sheldon Cooper on the multi-Emmy award winning The Big Bang Theory, Parsons has been talking about comic book movies while promoting his new animated movie Home. And who would Sheldon like to play?

“I would love to play a superhero in a movie, I would like to be a villain,” he told MTV. “And… I would really like to play The Riddler. I don’t feel they’re using the Riddler very much, are they?”

Check out the video:

With Riddler already being portrayed on Gotham by Corey Michael Smith, there sadly isn’t a spot for him there. However, there is always a chance he could nab a cameo appearance on CW’s Arrow or The Flash? Or CBS’ Supergirl? Or how about taking on Ben Affleck’s Batman when he gets his own solo movie following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

What do you make of this news – do you think Jim Pasons would make a good Riddler?
