The Flash adds Sleepy Hollow actress Jessica Camacho as Gypsy

December 15, 2016 by James Garcia

A new member of the Justice League is headed to The Flash, albeit one that many may not have heard of. According to TheWrap, Cynthia Reynolds, AKA Gypsy, is heading to Central City, and she’ll be played by Sleepy Hollow actress Jessica Camacho.

Carlos Valdes, who plays fan-favorite Cisco on the show, first teased the appearance of Gypsy while speaking on an episode of the CW’s “Fan Feast” digital series:

“DC Comics fans will be familiar with Gypsy. She is going to be coming in our world and Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her. So I’m excited to see how that plays out.”

On the page, Gypsy’s primary ability is illusion casting, which can be used to make herself and someone in close proximity to her invisible. She can also project illusions – usually frightening ones – into the minds of other people. Whether or not we’ll see that on the show, as well as how and when she’ll make her debut, remains to be seen.

The Flash airs on the CW on Tuesdays at 8:00pm EST.
