The Last Blockbuster trailer celebrates the era of the video rental shop

November 5, 2020 by Gary Collinson

If you’re a child of the 80s or 90s who have some fond memories of the video rental shop, then you’ll want to keep your eye out for the upcoming film The Last Blockbuster, a documentary which celebrates the era of rentals whilst telling the story of the world’s last remaining Blockbuster store in Bend, Oregon. Check out the trailer for the doc here…

The Last Blockbuster is a fun, nostalgic look back at the era of video rentals and the story of how one small town video store managed to outlast a corporate giant.

The Last Blockbuster will be available to purchase or rent from December 15th and features interviews with Adam Brody, Ione Skye, Doug Benson, Paul Scheer and Kevin Smith, with narration from Lauren Lapkus.
