The Magnificent Seven remake adds Jason Momoa and Byung-hun Lee

May 7, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa is in final negotiations to join the cast of Antoine Fuqua’s The Magnificent Seven remake as on of the film’s “heavies”.

If Momoa’s deal is completed, he will join the already a stellar cast that includes Denzel Washington (The Equalizer), Chris Pratt (Jurassic World), Ethan Hawke (Boyhood), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), Wagner Moura (Elite Squad) and Haley Bennett (The Equalizer), and is written by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) and Nic Pizzolatto (True Detective).

In a later development, Deadline added to the story by saying that G.I Joe star Byung-hun Lee has also joined the cast of the film, where he is set to play the character of Billy Rocks. Lee can be seen this summer as the new T-100 in Terminator Genisys.
