The Matrix 4 adds another Sense8 actor to its cast

As filming continues on The Matrix 4, Deadline is reporting that another actor from the Wachowskis’ Sense8 has joined the cast of the sci-fi action sequel in Brian J. Smith.

Smith – whose other credits include Stargate Universe, Treadstone and Gossip Girl – joins fellow Sense8 actors Erendira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere and Max Riemelt in the cast of the Lana Wachowski-directed film. Details on all of their roles are being kept under wraps at present.

The Matrix 4 is set for release on The Matrix 4 is set for release on May 21st 2021 and in addition to the above Sense8 stars, the film also features returning Matrix cast members Keanu Reeves (Neo), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe) alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Neil Patrick Harris (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Jonathan Groff (Frozen II), Priyanka Chopra (Baywatch) and Andrew Caldwell (iZombie).
