Sense8 actor Max Riemelt has announced that he is reuniting with the show’s co-creator Lana Wachowski for the upcoming fourth instalment in The Matrix franchise.

The Matrix 4 was a surprise announcement last year, and will see Wachowski directing the returning Keanu Reeves (Neo), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity) and Jade Pinkett Smith (Niobe), along with new additions Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Neil Patrick Harris (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Jonathan Groff (Frozen II) and Toby Onwumere (Sense8).
Plot details for The Matrix 4 are being kept under wraps at present, but filming is set to begin early this year ahead of a May 21st 2021 release date, where it will go head-to-head (for the time being) with another Keanu Reeves sequel in John Wick: Chapter 4.
