The Muppets reboot to offer a “more adult Muppet show”

April 22, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Earlier this month it was announced that Bill Prady (The Big Bang Theory) and Bob Kushell (Anger Management) are hard at work on a revival of The Muppet Show, developing a pilot for ABC for a new take on Jim Henson’s classic creations.Well, a logline for the show has now surfaced, which confirms that it is set to adopt a behind-the-scenes mockumentary style similar to that of The Office.

“The Muppets return to prime time with a contemporary, documentary-style show that—for the first time ever—will explore the Muppets’ personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, break-ups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires; a more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages.”

So, Muppets fans, are you excited about exploring the private lives of Kermit and company? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
