It has only been a couple of months since The Strangers: Chapter 2 hit theaters, but Lionsgate has now released the first teaser trailer for The Strangers: Chapter 3. Serving as the conclusion to the trilogy, the threequel sees Madelaine Petsch once again return to face off against the masked killers for one final encounter.
The Strangers trilogy was shot consecutively in 2022 with Renny Harlin directing from scripts written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. The trilogy is a reboot of the 2008 film where a married couple face a home invasion by a trio of sadistic masked killers.
Beginning with The Strangers: Chapter 1, Harlin’s trilogy has followed Petsch’s Maya Lucas who encounters the strangers while on a road trip with her husband. The second chapter picked up right where the first ended, making it likely Chapter 3 will continue the story right where audiences last saw Maya in her fight against her would-be murderers.
