Transformers 5 to introduce Unicron?

September 9, 2015 by admin

Like or hate them, the Transformers movies have made some serious money over the years. The last two movies made over $1 billion at the box office, with last year’s Transformers: Age of Extinction being the only movie that year to join the illustrious club. There’s been plenty of rumours floating around that the next movie in the series could see the Autobots venturing into outer space, and a new tidbit from the weekend suggests we could also see Unicron being introduced as well.

BMD are reporting that Transformers 5 will have not one, but two plot threads. One of which will see Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and the Dinobots on earth, and the other focusing on Optimus Prime heading into space to discover Unicron.

These rumours have come from Mark Ryan, who voiced Jetfire and Lockdown in the previous movie, and is reportedly what he was telling people who were at the UK Wings and Wheels Convention. However, BMD does point out that it would see odd that a lowly voice actor would know specific plot details at this early stage of development. So we’ll suggest a pinch of salt with this rumour for now.
