Universal snaps up untitled comedy from Family Guy trio

February 1, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Universal Pictures has snapped up an as-yet-untitled comedy pitch from Family Guy writers Wellesley Wild, Kevin Biggins and Mike Desilets, which is set to be produced by Scott Stuber and Dylan Clark’s Bluegrass Films, the production company behind the upcoming The Free State of Jones and Central Intelligence.

Deadline reports that the logline for the project reads: “A group of enthusiastically overweight dads get a wake-up call when a member of their group has a heart attack, forcing them to abruptly change their hard-drinking and hard-eating lifestyle.”
