Vincent D’Onofrio has started prep work for Marvel’s Daredevil season 3

November 10, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Vincent D’Onofrio has reported for duty for Daredevil season 3, the actor has revealed.

D’Onofrio made quite a splash when he first appeared as Wilson Fisk in season 1 of Netflix’s Daredevil. Fisk was a formidable adversary for Matt Murdock and D’Onofrio’s performance quickly made the character a fan favourite – despite his insanely violent tendencies.

D’Onofrio made an appearance in season 2 of the show and it has been announced that he will once again be playing Fisk during season 3. And yesterday the actor went to his twitter profile to let the world know that things are well underway.

D’Onofrio tweeted: “Heading to @marvel stage now. First reading of season III @Daredevil …FISK.”

Fisk is widely regarded as one of the best villains so far seen in the MCU, mostly down to the character’s complex personality, upsetting backstory, and, of course, D’onfrio’s layered performance.

Daredevil season 3 will air on Netflix in 2018.
