The Tracking Board is reporting that Warner Bros. is developing an animated feature based around the classic Looney Tunes character Speedy Gonzales.
The site states that the movie will offer a “contemporary take” on the fastest mouse in all Mexico, with Dylan Sellers (Southpaw), Jesse Ehrman (This Is Where I Leave You) and Eugenio Derbez set to serve as producers.
New Line Cinema has previously attempted to bring Speedy to the big screen, where George Lopez was attached to lend his voice to the title character, although the project ultimately fell apart.
