Special effects wizards Industrial Light & Magic have posted a new video to their YouTube channel detailing the elaborate process that went into digitally re-creating the late Peter Cushing’s Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Check out the video here…

Among other reasons, it’s almost certain that technology such as the above is one of the key reasons Rogue One: A Star Wars Story received an Oscar nomination for visual effects.
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure.
