Wes Anderson’s next project is stop-motion animated feature Isle of Dogs, cast revealed

Wes Anderson is returning to the world of stop-motion animation with his next feature film, Isle of Dogs. Anderson has been teasing a return to stop-motion since 2014 and made the announcement in a video along with revealing the cast of the film, many of them traditional regulars in his movie, including Edward Norton, who will voice the lead dog, Rex.

Alongside Norton, Isle of Dogs will feature the voices of Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand, along with Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Greta Gerwig, Liev Schreiber, Kunichi Nomura, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Yoko Ono and Courtney B. Vance.

Anderson is also teaming with Crowd Rise in a campaign to raise money for the Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundtation, an organization that’s main goal is to protect and preserve films from all around the world. Anderson’s fans can donate to Crowd Rise for a chance to win a voice role in Isle of Dogs along with other prizes. He explains in the video below how fans can donate…

Isle of Dogs is currently shooting in London for a release in 2018.
