Zac Efron and Anna Kendrick join Facebook animated series Human Discoveries

February 28, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Social network giant Facebook has tapped Zac Efron (The Greatest Showman) and Anna Kendrick (Trolls) to lend their voices to the upcoming animated series Human Discoveries.

Created by Chris Bruno and David Howard Lee, Human Discoveries takes place at the dawn of human civilisation and follows a group of friends who are “the first to discover necessities like fire and the wheel, but together they also stumble onto humanity’s best and worst innovations, including art, alcohol, fashion, racism, small talk and — much to their confusion — monogamy.”

Kendrick and Efron will both executive produce alongside Bruno, Lee, and Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley of ShadowMachine (BoJack Horseman). Also featuring in the voice cast are Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Jillian Bell (SuperMansion), Paul Scheer (Fresh Off the Boat) and Lisa Kudrow (Friends).
