According to Winter Is Coming, British actor Struan Rodger has been cast as the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven (a.k.a. the Three-Eyed Crow) in the currently-in-production fourth season of Game of Thrones. At this point, it’s unclear whether he’ll lend his voice to the raven, appear in human form, or turn up in one of Bran Stark’s visions.
Rodger, whose credits include Kill List, Stardust, Four Weddings and a Funeral, The Madness of King George, The Thick of It and Doctor Who, becomes the latest addition to the enormous ensemble cast of the epic fantasy series, with other newcomers for the fourth season including Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) as Tycho Nestoris, Joseph Gatt (Banshee) as Styr, Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Gangs of New York) as Mace Tyrell, Pedro Pascal (Graceland) as Oberyn Martell, Indira Varma (Rome) as Ellaria Sand, Michiel Huisman (Nashville) as Daario Naharis, Dean Charles-Chapman (The White Queen) as Tommen Baratheon and Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson as Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane.
Game of Thrones will return to HBO for its fourth season in the Spring.
