Stephen Amell teases Deathstroke return for Arrow’s 100th episode

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim has already revealed that Jamey Sheridan (Robert Queen) and Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance) will be appearing in the 100th episode of The CW’s DC superhero show, and now star Stephen Amell has taken to Twitter to tease the return of season two’s big bad, Deathstroke, sharing the following set photo from the production…

Slade Wilson was portrayed by Manu Bennett, who was critical of the show’s handling of the character back in 2015, stating that: “I think Deathstroke had a lot of possibilities with Arrow, but I think they took it in the wrong direction.” A future version of Deathstroke also appeared in the first season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, with Jamie Andrew Cutler portraying Slade’s son, Grant Wilson.
