Chris Pratt and Danny McBride reportedly offered roles in Knight Rider movie

February 14, 2014 by admin

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about The Weinstein Company’s planned Knight Rider movie, but now a new casting rumour has surfaced from Schmoes Know claiming that both Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation, The LEGO Movie) and Danny McBride (Despicable Me, This Is the End) have both received offers to star in the film.

The site goes on to speculate that Chris Pratt is up for the role of Michael Knight, made famous of course by David Hasselhoff in the classic 80s TV series, while McBride could be set to voice K.I.T.T., Knight Industries’ trusty artifical intelligence. If true, it would be another major leading role for Pratt, who’s set to follow August’s Guardians of the Galaxy with the Jurassic Park sequel Jurassic World next year.

Are you looking forward to the return of Michael Knight and K.I.T.T., and if so what do you make of this pairing?

Why not head on over to our newly-launched Flickering Myth Forum to discuss this story, or anything else that takes your fancy…
