Joss Whedon calls Jurassic World clip “70’s era sexist”

Earlier this week Universal Pictures released the first clip from Jurassic World, which featured a scene between Chris Pratt’s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire. The scene – which you can watch here – came in for plenty of criticism online, and even Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon has entered the fray, branding it “70’s era sexist”…

Jurassic World is set for release on June 12th, with Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) directing a cast that includes stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator Salvation), Jake Johnson (New Girl), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), Omar Sy (X-Men: Days of Future Past), BD Wong (Jurassic Park), Irrfan Khan (The Amazing Spider-Man), Judy Greer (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer), and Lauren Lapkus (Orange is the New Black).
