Echo Kellum cast as Mr. Terrific in Arrow season 4

July 17, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Entertainment Weekly has revealed the news that actor Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate) has landed the recurring role of Curtis Holt, aka Mr. Terrific, in the fourth season of The CW’s Arrow.

Talk of Mr. Terrific appearing in the new season was first unveiled at Comic-Con last weekend, but now the official news has come down from Warner Bros. and The CW about Kellum’s casting. The character is a “technological savant and inventor who works at Palmer Technologies under the supervision of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).”

In the comic books, Mr. Terrific’s alter-ego Michael Holt is a supremely intelligent man who is also an Olympic athlete who after the death of his family joined the Justice Society of America. Kellum is set to appear in episode two of the new season.

Arrow season 4 begins on The CW on October 7th.
