Will Smith wants Deadshot return in Gotham City Sirens

December 17, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Originally published December 17, 2016. Updated April 16, 2018.

Earlier this week Warner Bros. announced that it is officially moving forward with the Harley Quinn-led Suicide Squad spinoff Gotham City Sirens, which will reunite star (and now producer) Margot Robbie with director David Ayer.

Well, Will Smith has now revealed that he’s open to joining the reunion, with the actor telling MTV that: “I’d definitely love to be in it. I love Margot Robbie. I will do anything she wants to do. That didn’t come out… it probably did. It probably came out exactly how I meant it.”

The original report about Gotham City Sirens suggested that Warner Bros. is also mulling over a Deadshot spinoff movie, so it would seem that even if he doesn’t appear in Gotham City Sirens, we probably haven’t seen the last of Smith’s Floyd Lawton.
